Warren Hill holds a very special place in my heart.

It’s somewhere my own family and I return to often — for quiet walks, flying a kite, or simply taking a moment to pause and enjoy the views across Newmarket and the surrounding villages. Standing at the top of the hill, watching the town below and the sky change as the sun begins to set, always feels a little bit magical. The light becomes soft and warm, and everything slows down.

Over the years, I’ve explored many locations around Newmarket, and from my personal experience, Warren Hill stands out. While other areas can feel busy or crowded, Warren Hill offers a wonderful sense of openness and calm. Being up on the hill, surrounded by wide skies and open space, gives a feeling of freedom — a chance to step away from the pace of everyday life and simply be together.

That’s why it’s my favourite local location for outdoor Family Lifestyle Sessions.

A typical family lifestyle session lasts around 45–60 minutes. During that time, we’ll walk together, chat, and stop at a few carefully chosen spots along the way. I’ll photograph both the gentle, still moments and the movement in between — those natural interactions as you walk, laugh, and play together often become the most meaningful images.

I’ll gently guide you when needed, encouraging closeness and interaction, but my approach is always relaxed and natural. There will be plenty of laughter, playful moments, and genuine connection. While I may ask you to look towards the camera occasionally, most of the session is about you focusing on each other — holding hands, cuddling, playing, and simply enjoying the time together.

The result is a beautiful mix of family portraits and individual moments — a collection of images filled with warmth, light, and the story of your family, captured in a place that truly feels special.
