Karolina Monteith Photography

By booking a photography session with Karolina Monteith Photography, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These are in place to ensure a smooth, enjoyable experience for both you and your photographer.

BOOKING & DEPOSITS

A booking fee of £100 is required to secure your session date.
Your booking is not confirmed until the fee has been received.

  • The booking fee is non-refundable

  • The booking fee is transferable to a new date if rescheduling is required (subject to availability)

  • The booking fee will be deducted from your chosen collection

PAYMENT

The remaining balance is payable after you have viewed your proof gallery and selected your images.

  • No images will be delivered until full payment has been received

  • Prices are subject to change at any time, however the price confirmed at the time of booking will be honoured

SESSION DETAILS

Newborn Sessions

  • Newborn sessions are best photographed within the first 7–21 days after birth

  • Sessions are baby-led and typically last 2–3 hours, allowing time for feeding, settling, and cuddles

  • Parents are asked to notify the photographer as soon as possible after baby’s arrival to schedule the session date

Maternity Sessions

  • Maternity sessions are recommended between 28–34 weeks

  • Sessions last approximately 1–2 hours

  • Studio dresses dresses and styling guidance are included

Family Lifestyle Sessions

  • Family sessions take place outdoors and typically last around 60 minutes

  • Sessions are scheduled based on light and weather conditions

  • Dates may be adjusted to ensure the best possible conditions

RESCHEDULING & CANCELLATIONS

Your health and your baby’s wellbeing always come first.

  • Sessions may be rescheduled due to illness (including baby illness) at no additional cost

  • Please notify the photographer as soon as possible if you need to reschedule

  • If a session is cancelled after it has begun, a £25 rescheduling fee may apply

In the rare event that Karolina Monteith Photography must cancel a session, all payments made will be transferred to a new date or refunded if rescheduling is not possible.

IMAGE DELIVERY & GALLERIES

  • Proof galleries are delivered within approximately two weeks of your session

  • Galleries remain open for 14 days

  • After image selection and full payment, final images will be delivered digitally via download

Unselected images are archived for one year.
If you require your gallery to be reactivated after this period, a £25 reactivation fee applies.

EDITING & STYLE

By booking a session, you acknowledge that you are familiar with and trust the photographer’s editing style.

  • Images are edited in the photographer’s signature style

  • Unedited RAW files are not provided

  • Requests for additional retouching may incur an extra fee

COPYRIGHT & IMAGE USE

All images remain the copyright of Karolina Monteith Photography.

  • Clients receive a print release for personal use of purchased images

  • Images may not be altered, filtered, or edited by the client

  • Images may not be used for commercial purposes without written permission

Karolina Monteith Photography reserves the right to use images for:

  • Portfolio

  • Website

  • Social media

  • Marketing and promotional materials

If you wish to keep your images private, please notify the photographer in writing before your session.

SAFETY

The safety of your baby and family is always the highest priority.

  • All newborn posing is gentle and baby-led

  • Parents must remain present during newborn sessions

  • Sessions may be paused or adjusted at any time to ensure comfort and safety

LIABILITY

Every effort is taken to provide a safe and professional service.
Karolina Monteith Photography is not responsible for circumstances beyond control, including but not limited to weather conditions, illness, or technical failure.

By booking a session with Karolina Monteith Photography, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these terms and conditions.
